What Information is collected?
Your name and email address is collected via your initial telephone call, email or website enquiry. Your name and email address are also collected via paper or electronic health forms.
Who collects this information?
Anita Peach/ Yoga With Anita collects and stores this data. If you also consent to receive marketing material, such as class updates or information related to yoga.
How is it collected and where is it stored?
When you make an initial enquiry, your name and email address is manually entered on to an Excel spreadsheet. When you complete a health form either in paper or electronic format, your name and email address are manually entered on to the spreadsheet. You can tick the OPT IN box on the form if you wish to receive information on yoga classes or workshops, and yoga-related material. All marketing emails offer the option to unsubscribe from the mailing list. Paper and electronic health forms are stored on DropBox, a secure, cloud website. Emails are stored in Hotmail.
Why is it being collected?
You name and email address are collected so that you can be informed about class changes, cancellations, new term dates and new classes or workshops.
How will the data be used?
Data collected will be used to contact you about your enquiry, your current booking, future bookings or for marketing material such as new classes or workshops that may be of interest to you.
How long will the data be stored for?
Data will be held for at least seven years for insurance purposes. Emails will be retained for up to two years.
Who will my data be shared with?
It will not be shared with any other party.
What is the effect of this new regulation policy for individual students?
If you wish to be contacted by email with marketing communications from Yoga With Anita, you will need to tick the OPT IN box on your health form. If this box is not ticked, you will not receive any information via email.
Can I access my data?
The Data Protection Act 1998 gives all individuals the right to access personal information that is held about them. You can request a copy of any information that I hold about you. Please note that any request for this information may be subject to payment of £10 which covers administrative costs. You can request to see the data held on you by emailing yogawithanita1@gmail.com
